Belonging to the National Federation of the Blind of Washington is exciting and empowering. This group of blind Washingtonians has given me  the opportunity to find myself, connect with others across the state and across the nation! The love, encouragement, friendship and mentorship here is unlike anywhere else. The belief in the abilities of blind individuals has helped me to believe in my own capabilities.  I love working together with others to ensure blind individuals have a place  at the table, feel valued and be a part of social change.
