Washington's "Braille Bill"
the following four provisions constitute the "Braille Bill" for Washington.

- RCW 28A.155.115
- RCW 28A.410.032
- WAC 181-82-130 This regulation, promulgated pursuant to RCW28A.410.032, requires that teachers of the blind and visually impaired and paraprofessionals assisting them be certified as being competent in the use of Braille.
Protection of Parents with Handicaps
RCW 26.44.015 RCW26.44.015(3) mandates that parents or guardians who are blind, deaf or otherwise handicapped may not be considered abusive or neglective solely by reason of their handicap.
