Come live the life you want at the National Federation of the Blind of Washington 2025 state convention. We will dazzle you with sessions rich with education, entertainment, and empowerment.
This will be a weekend full of memories for all ages.

CONVENTION COST

$30 to register & be eligible for door prizes

Full Meal Package
: $175

  • This package includes: Friday boxed lunch, Saturday buffet breakfast, Saturday boxed lunch & Saturday banquet meal


Saturday Only Package: $135

  • This package includes all three Saturday meals listed in the full meal package above.


Banquet Meal Only: $75

  • This package includes a Saturday banquet meal.

Featured Training Opportunity

The National Federation of the Blind of Washington is pleased to be partnering once again with our platinum convention sponsor, The Northwest Center for Assistive Technology Training (CATT-NW) to bring you this valuable workshop at our annual NFBW state convention. This event is free. Although you don't have to be registered for our convention to participate in the training, we hope that you decide to do so. We would love to get to know you better.

Workshop Details:


TADA! offers 10 free online activities for anyone to use with a student of any age/ability who would like to learn nonvisual drawing skills, spatial concepts related to coding, and how to create computer graphics. This full-day session will take you on a hands-on tour of this modern day adventure map and provide a deep dive on how to design and produce tactile graphics.


This session will be offering Washington state clock hours, as well as ACVREP hours.

The Center for Assistive Technology and Training (CATT-NW)
CATT-NW Website

The Northwest Center for Assistive Technology Training (CATT) Program is a collaboration between the American Printing House for the Blind (APH), the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) and the Washington State School for the Blind (WSSB).
CATT's Mission

To provide assistive technology devices and training to teachers of blind/low vision children, utilizing a "train the trainer" model, while also providing support/training for other professionals working with blind or low vision children as well as parents/caregivers of a child who is blind or has low vision, including those with additional disabilities.

Who Provides the Technology and Training?
Assistive technology are provided through APH and training is provided through WSSB employed trainers serving a ten-state/territory region: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa.
